DigitalGlobe’s SeaStar Fisheries Information Service also provides weather forecast data gathered from its satellites and processed by the model. Data is displayed in the OrbMap software in the same way as the oceanographic data and fishing recommendations.
This provides the user with an global overview of concentrated fishing areas and sea conditions to help them develop their fishing strategy.
